A Late Hello - Stress and More Guitars...

 It's been eerily quiet here, almost like I haven't been living. I promise, I'm not dead although the last few months have felt a bit rough. I've spent most of this year constantly sorting my room battling between new and old things, neither that I actually need. I've sold on a few guitars that I never thought I would, ones that had more sentimental value than anything but weren't really worth anything. I've also bought new ones (part the reason why I needed to sell - I can't keep them all!)

I went to the guitar show in Birmingham with a friend; Aaron. Naively thinking I wouldn't come back with anything. We had a good hunt around and I spied a PRS that I quite fancied but the star for me was a Reverend Sentinel short scale bass which came home with me. As impulsive as it was, it's so much more comfortable than my Burns (now-ex) which I've now sold on. Well, actually I ended up exchanging it with my rotary pedal to put towards a Washburn I'd been after since last year. Both stunning guitars. I'm quite happy that I know I'm playing with quality instruments too.

I also gained one of Dan's (KTM guitarist/vocals) guitars recently as he was selling it cheap to fund buying himself an Orange amp head. It's Chris Miller's (YM@6) signature Ibanez. It's something a bit different for me as it's my only guitar with a P90 that's fitted in the neck pick up. All my other guitars have humbuckers or single coils. I should have mentioned the gig's that Kill The Moon had coming up here but I really haven't been in the mood for managing things like this. It's been too much lately and I still haven't got a proper break from work until the end of May. We've only had a couple at least and usually Facebook/Instagram does the trick. 

I do have some news though. I have a second band called "Coral Sun." I only made a page for it a few days ago so it's all very new with a big announcement coming later this evening (7pm GMT) - I guess I could schedule that here too maybe.

Now, what else...

Bit of a random one but I've started selling my games to Cex recently. Managed to get a few decent vouchers/cash injections from them. After selling my guitars, that lead to me finding a wavebird in another of their stores in Nottingham. It was in such good condition that I couldn't pass it up. £70 lighter but it was worth it. The Nintendo GameCube is a favourite and I've wanted one for a while. Just hope I don't ever lose the wireless adapter. Bonus with Cex is if I do change my mind - i've currently only lost £30 if I decide to trade it back to them. So not bad I guess.

I have to start getting ready for work soon so I'll probably wrap it up here for now and try to get back into a habit of posting more regularly again, even if it's just weekly/monthly, I don't know - we'll see!
